Business Queers runs coworking at the lgbtq centre once a week on a Wednesday and on Wednesday 14th August, we are having a mixy, mingly social lunch break with the help of Grow London Local!
You can expect to meet other lgbtqia+ folks running their own business, project, freelancing, creative projects, community initiatives - basically queers making things happen out on their own. This can be for finding collaborators, friends or a bit of community among people who understand <3
You're welcome to join when you can, but here's the basic plan:
- 12:00 - 12:15 - arrive and have some snacks/lunch you brought with you
- 12:15 - 12:30 - Intro to the session & we all introduce ourselves and our businesses
- 12:30 - 13:00 - Mix and mingle
- 13:00 - 13:30 - switch groups and mix and mingle some more
- 13:30 - 14:00 - Kate shares info on GLL
Business Queers is a community for queer:
- Business owners
- Freelancers
- Community organisers
- Creatives
in need of advice, connection, collaboration & community! At the moment this comes in the form of a group chat, weekly coworking at the lgbtq+ centre and events like this one. This project is run by Kimberly Malone Crossley (they/she) and is part of the Fruit Salad Events Collective.
Are you a small business owner that struggles with the common challenges like marketing, growth, or planning? The service is at no cost to those who use it.
To access the free funded support, you will be connecting with a Business Support Manager who will identify your challenges and tailor sign post you to the support that can assist you best.
