Join a laid back creative writing session at The Mill in Walthamstow this Autumn.
Lez Get Writing invites newcomers and experienced writers to spend time together in a supportive, sapphic writing workshop.
We’ll do some facilitated writing exercises, using different lesbian and queer prompts each week.
Each session will be a mix of quiet time to write and chances to reflect and connect.
There will be no pressure to read aloud, but some opportunities to share if you would like to, plus some completely optional homework if you’d like some motivation to keep writing!
Whether you want to write Fiction, Poetry, Non-Fiction, Flash Fiction, or have no idea - all aspiring writers are welcome. This isn't a course so you can attend just one session, or all of them - they will each be unique.
This workshop is for lesbians, queer and bisexual women, trans and non-binary people.
This project has been made possible by The Mill’s Grow Your Idea fund.
The Mill is accessible with a flat entrance, wheelchair-friendly doors, and a single-level ground floor.
The front door is heavy and not power-assisted - assistance is available via a doorbell.
