Most Architecture is cis man-made; how can we imagine for ourselves what the queer-made home could look like? Inspired by Birkby’s Feminist Architecture Workshops, this is a workshop to consider what your dream Queer Architecture would look like.
The session will begin with a grounding exercise, followed by a big paper drawing session and a relaxed discussion about thoughts and feelings on your drawing. This is an imagining and materialising of what the queer domestic looks like. Snacks will be provided.
Every Mouth Needs Filling, a South London-based curatorial duo (Elisha Fall and Caitlin Fleming), will lead the workshop. Drawings will be archived unless you wish to keep & take it home.
