Speaker biographies
Ghada Majadli is a researcher and Al-Shabaka policy analyst. She holds a master’s in human rights and transitional justice from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her work primarily focuses on Palestinian health and human rights, with particular attention to the multilayered system of control and management of Palestinians' health by the Israeli regime.
Aseel Baidoun is the senior manager of Advocacy and Campaigns at Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), based in the occupied West Bank and originally from East Jerusalem. She has more than 10 years of experience in advocacy and communications in the humanitarian and health sector, and has worked for several international organisations including the World Health Organization and Save the Children.
Lila Tamea is a PhD researcher and activist at Liverpool John Moores University exploring institutional Islamophobia in higher education. She is curator and host of the ‘Being Muslim’ podcast and has written on pro-Palestinian advocacy and censorship for The Muslim Vibe.
