Last time we did this event it was to raise money for Community Day market in June - we don't need to raise money for our next market - QUEERMAS - our stallholder fees will cover our costs this time so we can pay ourselves a wage with ticket sales! However, after the roughest year ⅓ of the LQM team - BOE - is in need of some financial support.
Ahead of their second unexpected studio move of the year, combined with a debt tagged onto their account by a shitty ex, and the general state of the world and cost of living - they need some money to cover these costs so they can keep working on Boe Studios and LQM and avoid having to work full time and give up these projects.
