Let's face it, we get tired. Life can get dull - not least in these dark winter days. Yet, tantra invites us to consider other ways, other possibilities. Which, in the end, are not special techniques - though skilled touch can be amazing.
Nor are they intense rituals, or meditations - though both can be wonderful
No. Tantra invites us to accept that nothing can cheer us up: that is, no-thing. That we do not need things, even beautiful things, or amazing masseurs. We need nothing. Because, we are already enough. We already have joy inside us, just waiting to be found and realised. Ecstasy is not in some imaginary future, an impossible dream.
It can be now. It can be here.
So, maybe this workshop isn't needed. You could stay home, save money, avoid the hassle of the journey!
Except: I know all this in theory. I've studied tantra, read the books. Maybe you've done much the same. So, that means we are all sorted? we can access the ecstasy that is inside us right now, 24/7?
I'll rephrase the above a little. This workshop isn't needed... if we know and feel ecstasy in any time, in any situation…
… For the rest of us, myself very much included, more practice is needed… and this afternoon is a space for practice, to explore the ecstasy we might sense could be there but don't often find. We'll help each other in this journey into our usually hidden selves, through body meditations, touch, massage… harnessing our sensuality and sexuality, our potentials to connect with our truth and with each other.
As with all Tantric Meetings for Men, this workshop is both for guys new to Tantra and the experienced. We’ll start with introductions to each other and ways to ensure safety, confidentiality and consent. We will then move to gentle practices to raise awareness and arouse our energies, including an invitation to become undressed, and explore some of the tantric approaches as guys fully give and receive touch and massage.
Please bring a sheet, towel, a water bottle, perhaps a sarong or blanket for breaks… and an open mind and heart.

Location notes: Lord Byron ‘Square’ is actually a light commercial area accessed from West Ashton Street, off Eccles New Road. After the entry gates, turn right then left into a short cut-de-sac and Pathways is on your right (number 15 with purple paint). It’s quiet on Saturdays with plenty of on-street parking. Pathways is about 10 minutes walk from the Langworthy tram and bus stops. Do call if you need directions.
