This pair of exciting and innovative INSCRIBE workshops will address climate change, land justice, nature, sustainability, indigenous resilience and eco-cide from our global majority perspectives. The sessions will be led by two of our esteemed alumni, MAYA CHOWDHRY & SAI MURRAY, both excellent facilitators with a proven track record in creative activism and addressing issues of climate justice.
You will explore creative writing as a tool for action, solutions, and radical healing. As a participant you will become part of a collective, producing & collating short-run zines on varied themes from your creative output, and deciding how best to share and display your work through public action(s). Each participant will get copies of the zines. Ideally you’ll be expected to participate in both sessions, and you’ll be required to produce some work between the two sessions.
Come prepared to write, discuss, read, research, and contribute from your experience (either here or in our diasporas). ,
