Lady Olé is hitting the 9 year mark and to celebrate it, we have another iconic party in the making. We've been to Benidorm Fest and done our homework in the run-up to Eurovision, but before all that rocks our world: it's CARNIVAL weekend, and we have a very special artist from Brazil joining us.
Emmie Reek, a Brazilian drag queen and multi-artist based in Europe, blends Brazilian essence with global pop culture in her music. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, she has lived in Ireland, Holland, and now lives in Spain. Known for her powerful voice and magnetic stage presence, Emmie thrives in pop, urban, and soul music. After reaching the Top 12 on The Voice Ireland in 2016, she gained international recognition, and in 2024, she made history as the first drag queen singer to compete on X Factor Spain, making it to the Top 24. Last year, she released her debut single, GOSTOSA, and is also the producer and host of events in Barcelona, such as Karaoqueer and Magia Negra, a multidisciplinary show that focuses in showcasing racialized culture. Don't miss her London debut!!!
Being our birthday, and being a community party, we're not going to let anyone steal the show from our resident queens Dramala Tina + Nikita Nipone + Lola McQueen who are bringing a hilarious ‘Reinas’ show. A nod to our earlier days.
Music will come from residents Los Alejandros. All the usual Spanish & Euro camp for your sing-a-long needs.
Show some decency and come dressed up! it's carnival FFS!!! and whilst you're at it join us in blowing the candles, we'll have some cake too ;)
