Community Meet-up / networking event:
This is an open invitation to a coffee morning / meet and greet taking place at SET Social, Peckham on Tuesday 4th February 10am-12pm or Tuesday 11th February 6-8pm. (please come to whichever you can attend. both events will be the same)
This an informal opportunity to meet like-minded organisations, groups and services in our area, make connections and see how we can work together and benefit each other in supporting our communities and service users.
Instant coffee, tea and biscuits will be complimentary.
(any coffees from the machine / other drinks will be available to purchase cheaply from our cafe)
SET Social
SET Social is a community space based in a former Baptist Church in the heart of Peckham Rye.
This is a brief breakdown of what takes place on a regular basis:
- Regular Programming – Events + Fundraisers, Clubs night, Quiz, Karaoke, Music, Workshops, Markets, Film Screenings + more
- Public Living Room - We have joined up with Camerados Charity as part of their ‘Public Living Room’ scheme, providing a warm social space for people to gather in during our cafe opening hours.
- Cafe - Cheap tea and coffee Wednesday-Sunday 2pm-6pm
- Bar – Sunday-Thursday 2pm-11pm + Friday-Saturday 2pm-1am
- Community DIY Garden + Food Growing Project – Open access gardening during opening hours
- Manchanda Community Library – Running public events and reading sessions
- SET Stage Gallery - ‘Not-for-profit' contemporary art gallery, hosting a rotation of monthly shows.
