Getting Weird With Sam Roulston
For intermediate to advanced improvisers.
This workshop is designed to help you earn those weird and wonderful characters and bold improv choices without turning the audience off. We’ll explore how to get the audience on your side so that you can go to Banana Town. This workshop is perfect for improvisers who want to push themselves to play huge characters and might need a little help discovering their wild side on stage. This workshop is also great for those improvisers who love playing wacky characters but need a little help honing them in and grounding those character choices in reality. Together we’ll discuss the idea of “the line” that comedians love to tread and we’ll explore how to endear yourself to an audience and gain their trust.
