The Sexual Freedom Awards 2025, an annual Awards event, is in its 29th year of honouring and promoting excellence in erotic performance and sexual services and celebrating pioneers in the field of sexuality. We are inviting you to join us at Heaven, London, on Sunday 11th May for the late afternoon and evening celebrations. The event is fully accessible.
The Experience:
You will see the finalist acts of the Performer and Stripper categories as well as the presentation of awards to all winners who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to sexual freedom and advocacy. Our aim is to recognise excellence in activism, performance, education, and innovation within the sex industry. Nominations for the Awards are accepted for individuals, services and organisations. It is a night about empowerment.
Don't expect a stuffy, formal evening though. DJs and guest acts will pepper the evening so that it will feel as much a party as anything else. Our compere, Thierry, with The Party Poppets @thepartypoppets, will carry you along with wit, exuberance, charm and colour. Guest acts will be from the virtuoso performers: Carolina @bloggeronpole, Ally Only @cybertease_, Maedb Joy @MaedbJoy and Holly Penfield @hollypenfield
An Awards ceremony is not complete without a panel of expert and astute judges: Kian de la Cour @kiandelacour (Chair), Black Venus @xrage0001, Dr Carolina Are @bloggeronpole, Professor Claire de Than, Helena Kate Whittingham @lovermanagement and Kelly Gordon @mskelgee @hotoctopuss. Matt Skully @skully1888 will join as guest judge on the night. https://www.sexualfreedomawards.co.uk/award-judges
Our raffle, run by seductive Val Clarke, House of Rua, must have some of the most decadent and desirable prizes ever.
You might not have heard of the Sexual Freedom Awards. Dr Tuppy Owens, founded the Awards to fundraise for her charity The Outsiders Trust (see below). As well as the Awards, she founded the Sex Manics Ball, which morphed into The Night of the Senses. She set the scene for inclusion - all her events were spaces where anyone could express or explore their sexuality. She advocated accessibility - it was fundamental that people with disabilities had the right to attend. We aim to maintain her core principles.
The Trophy:
The winner of each category will receive the iconic Golden Flying Penis. The trophies are handmade in Bali and were designed by Tuppy - she wanted her trophy to be a talking point.
Seating:
There will be a clear view of the stage from either the table or theatre style (chair) seating.
Tickets:
We offer three choices (in order to make the event affordable, yet still a fundraiser). The options are offered at the payment stage.
- Pay in full.
Deposit Scheme: 2 x payment instalments. First payment is the deposit which is 25% of ticket price and ticket agent's charge. The balance will be taken on May 4th 2025. You can use this scheme to buy a ticket at anytime before May 4th.
The deposit payment is non-refundable should the ticket either be canceled, which can be done through the payment plan screen, or there is a default on the second payment. If either happens no tickets will be issued but will go back on sale.
Monthly Payment Plan: only eligible when you BUY TICKETS IN MARCH. There will be 3 x payment instalments:
March (first payment and deposit of 25% of price plus ticket agent's charge), April (second Payment) and May 4th 2025 (last payment).
The deposit payment is non-refundable should the ticket either be canceled, which can be done through the payment plan screen, or there is a default on the second or third payment. If either happens no tickets will be issued but will go back on sale.
Whichever ticket payment choice, PAs coming with a person with a disability will enter for free.
Dress Code:
Please dress to impress - dazzling, extravagant, extrovert - except nudity.
Photography and Filming:
Important: please see “Terms” below.
The Closing of the Awards:
The night will not be over after the ceremony. There will be a chance to schmooze and dance till 11pm when your carriages will await - aka London Transport and taxis.
The Outsiders Trust:
The proceeds of the Awards are used solely to fund the work of the Outsiders Trust – a charity which supports disabled people in their pursuit of relationships and sexual expression.
Planning and execution relies solely on volunteers, including Outsiders Trust's supporters and Little Leaf Agency for PR and Communications services with assistance from Talent Management Agency, Lover Management. These are organisations that actively support sex workers, performers, and those advocating for sexual freedom and rights.
The 2025 Awards Product Category is proudly sponsored by handmade sex toy company Hankey’s Toys
