INTO CONNECTION: Movement for Mental Health & Physical Well-being

What to expect:

The sessions offer opportunities to practice dance and movement for mental health and physical well-being through creative tasks and practices that support each participant's level, led by a Dance Movement Psychotherapist (DMP).

The therapeutic movement and dance sessions provide a dedicated space for participants to embody their experiences through creative movement explorations. Through dance, individuals can authentically connect with themselves, interact with fellow participants, and express and understand their inner subjective worlds. Participants will have the chance to chat and exchange insights.

Poplar Union is a fully accessible space, and we warmly welcome people of all abilities, including disabled people, to join us and move in whatever way feels right for them.

Who is it for?

These sessions are for LGBTQIA+ identifying people.

Judgement, bullying or abuse will NOT be tolerated. We want to host an open & accepting space for everyone who wants to join.

All levels of movement experience are welcome. People with no movement experience are welcomed & encouraged to participate.

We will accept people who would like to join that do not Identify as LGBTQIA+ on a case-by-case basis.
