INTO CONNECTION: LGBTQ+ Movement & Body Awareness Sessions
What to expect:
Into Connection is a Pay-What-You-Can series of group-based creative movement workshops for LGBTQ+ / queer participants. It offers guided movement, creative tasks, and opportunities to explore movement in ways that feel comfortable and appropriate. Activities are adaptable to different abilities and encourage participation at each participant's individual pace.
All sessions are led by professional Dance Movement Psychotherapists, and take place in an accessible community arts venue. These sessions emphasise creative exploration, self-expression, social connection, and embodied participation. Whilst facilitators bring inclusive, trauma-informed experience, these sessions are not clinical or therapeutic treatment, do not diagnose or treat any physical or mental health condition, and are not delivered as therapy.

Important information:
– Age restriction: 16+ (age confirmation required)
– Respectful, inclusive, and relaxed space — judgement, bullying, or abuse will not be tolerated
– Healthy refreshments, snacks, and hot tea will be available for everyone to enjoy!
– All sessions take place in a group setting — there are no 1:1 sessions.
