LGBTQ+ & not keen to join public paddleboarding sessions? Come and paddle with us! Have fun and build confidence on the water.
We know that joining a group of strangers and getting in the water can be tricky for some of us so this session is for us.
Duke's Coastline Club and Yes Queer have teamed up with local watersports experts Epic Life to bring an LGBTQ+ session for paddlers of all levels. This first session will be on the River Rother and we hope to have some open water sessions in Hastings in the future.
What will you get?
1.5 hours of guided paddleboarding
All the rental kit that you need
A judgement-free space to have fun
Transportation from and to St Leonards if you'd like it.
What don't we provide?
Lunch (although there is a cafe on-site for chats afterwards)
What should you bring?
Something swim-worthy
Water & snacks
Suncream and a light cover-up
If the weather looks less than perfect please dress accordingly!
