BOD!ED: CALISTHENICS is the second event in our spring programming. As black trans folk, our bodies can often be a place of discomfort and dysphoria. Calisthenics is a form of strength training that uses a persons own body weight as resistance, rather than relying on machines or free weights. Calisthenics can teach us about the great power and strength we possess within ourselves. So JOIN US !
This event will consist of two sessions:
For our SOUTH LONDONERS
SUNDAY 24th MAY 2026, 3-5PM
@Ruskin Park Outdoor Gym, Ruskin PARK, SE5 9AW
For our EAST LONDONERS
SUNDAY 14th JUNE 2026, 3-5PM
@Shadwell Basin Outdoor Gym, 1 Newlands Quay, St. Katharine's, London, E1W 3DJ
Both Sessions will be led and facilitated by:
ISAAC @isaacbutbig
Isaac is a strength and calisthenics coach, and his training revolves around three key values: Passion, compassion and hard work. Centring skills and advanced bodyweight movements at the core of his training, Isaac's love for fitness transformed his life for the better, and his mission as a personal trainer is to bring that joy and transformation to as many people as possible, especially within the trans community.
MOSES @moc4listhenics
Building strength, breaking barriers, and reclaiming my body one rep at a time. I’m a trans athlete dedicated to the art of calisthenics to achieve a physique and mindset that feels like home. I’m here to show that fitness has no gender, only discipline and heart. I celebrate the power of transition through movement and aim to create more inclusive fitness spaces.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED to join in!

BOD!ED is an active series creating intentionally free, accessible, black trans-led spaces for black trans people to engage with and reclaim sport/movement in safe, community-governed environments. Anti-trans policies are rising within the sports world at a rapid rate, and where sports used to be a place of refuge for many trans folk, spaces are now transforming into hostile, gender policed territory.
Our spring & summer programming will contain a series of free & pwyc (pay what you can) workshops/classes/sessions across a range of different sports & movement explorations. All our workshops will be black-trans led or facilitated in an effort to platform the beauty of black trans-athleticism.
