Why support inQ! Queer Comic Fair?
Queer stories have historically struggled to be seen. We’re still up against censorship, ignorance, and an unwillingness to listen. Times may be dark, but there’s strength and hope in stories. We believe art can smash barriers, and start conversations. LGBTQIA+ Comics and zines have secretly been on a mission to make the world a safer, more open-minded, and less scary space for as long as they’ve existed. We want to help creators step out from behind their drawing boards and start sharing, in a queer comics community that is creative, safe, and supportive.
