This Pride, W London welcomes My Genderation: the non-profit trans creative organisation founded by filmmakers, artists and content creators Fox Fisher and Lewis Hancox, for a special evening centring trans people, creativity and community.
LIFE OF KAI: W Film Club with My Genderation
The night begins in W London’s Screening Room with a special screening of Life of Kai, a 22-minute BFI-funded short documentary following Kai, a trans boy, over the course of 10 years. The screening will also include two short films and a trailer, followed by a panel conversation with the filmmakers about the making of the work and the importance of trans youth being represented with care, nuance and joy.
TRANS CREATIVES: In Conversation with My Genderation
The evening then moves into Revolve within The Perception Bar for a conversation with My Genderation on Trans Creatives - a live panel with trans creatives discussing storytelling, visibility, career pathways, community and the future of trans culture.
