Studded Leather workshop with Emily Witham
Join artist Emily Witham to learn how to create your own studded leather patch. You'll use metal rivets to spell out a 3–6 letter word of your choosing. Whatever word you emboss, you’ll walk away with a new skill as well as a finished product that can then later be sewn onto clothing or framed and displayed as an artwork. You can see examples of what previous participants have created here.
This workshop is open to participants who identify as LGBTQIA+. Beginner friendly, no previous leatherworking experience needed! All tools and materials are provided. The workshop will use responsibly sourced premium cowhide leather.
Please note: studs will be hammered by hand, so this is a noisy workshop. Feel free to bring ear plugs/defenders.
