Help us make dyke history and create the Brighton Dyke Pride that our community deserves 🏳️⚧️
After a sell-out success, we are bringing you 💥 DYKE DAY VOL. 2 💥 This time we are putting together the drag king cabaret show of your dyke dreams, all with the aim of raising enough money to make Brighton Dyke Pride possible!
Brighton deserves a Dyke Pride, where we can all come together in joy and solidarity. As one of the only major cities without one, this will fill a much-need gap, for a DIY Pride for all dykes, which is fully trans-inclusive and accessible, away from corporate greed and pinkwashing.
This is set to take place for the first time on Saturday 5th September, and is being organised by a group of volunteers made up of local dykes who believe in this project. We are working on a shoestring budget to pull this off, but there are some costs we can't get around, and all money from this fundraiser will help make this possible.
If you can't make it and would still like to donate please support our crowdfunder, which also has a full breakdown of our budget.
For Dyke Day Vol. 2, we've got a stunning lineup of local drag kings & things bringing you a cabaret show of local talent, followed by phenomenal DJs (full line up coming soon!). Alongside tarot readings, a preloved clothes stall, portrait booth, bake sale, crafts, an arm wrestling contest, and more!
