We are back for another Lavender Pages event, this time online!
Come to our online reading Mutual Aid Bedtime Stories by Kes Otter Lieffe on July 8th 2026 from 7PM GMT / 8PM CEST
In this cosy evening online event, Kes Otter Lieffe will read some stories from her new fiction project - mutual aid bedtime stories. Snuggle up with us, enjoy some stories and support Lavender Pages and prisoner solidarity. All before bedtime.
Kes Otter Lieffe is a writer and ecologist and has been involved in grassroots community struggles for over twenty years. She has written four queer speculative fiction novels and she writes and teaches about queer ecology. Her work focuses on nature connection, mutual aid, and the intersections of class, queerness, disability justice and environmental defence.
Lavender Pages is a solidarity project for LGBTQ+ incarcerated folx in the UK sending books for free all around the UK. We are fully volunteer run and receive no institutional or corporate funding. All funds raised will be used to directly pay for books, postage & packing for our next book send outs to queer & trans people in prison. You can find us on instagram and substack to learn more about us.
This is a free event! We welcome donations to the project if this is within your means.
This is also an opportunity to learn more about Lavender Pages and the work we do.
