Friday 11 September 2026
Doors from 7pm | Cabaret and VIP Guests from 7:30pm | Industry Auction & Raffle | DJ until 4am
Two Brewers, Clapham
Queer Theatre is turning two year old! And we’re celebrating with Luvvie: our big industry party for LGBTQIA+ people in the performing arts and our allies.
Designed especially for queer people and allies working and studying across theatre, film, TV, cabaret and live performance, Luvvie is a queer space to connect with other creatives, build friendships, make professional connections, celebrate each other’s work and dance until late.
For two years, Queer Theatre has been building a home for LGBTQIA+ theatre-makers in London. What began as a group of queer theatre-makers meeting every week has become a year-round commitment to ensure queer creatives have somewhere to go every week. From weekly acting classes and our OutCast showcases of queer actors and writers, to Queer Play Reading Club with some of the great LGBTQIA+ writers in the UK, live podcast events with living legends, theatre trips, socials, Pride marches and our big Variety Nights, Queer Theatre has helped foster countless friendships, collaborations and creative opportunities.
Now we’re bringing everyone together in one room. Expect a major birthday celebration packed with cabaret, comedy, live performance, familiar faces, special industry guests, fundraising, dancing and a DJ until 4am.
We’ll also be hosting an Industry Auction and Raffle, with incredible prizes including industry memberships, creative experiences, theatre tickets, equipment and more, all raising vital funds for Queer Theatre’s work supporting LGBTQIA+ artists and theatre-makers.
We will be inviting some very special industry guests, with our star-studded line-up of performers to be announced soon.
Whether you’ve been with Queer Theatre since the beginning, came to one class, performed in a showcase, joined us at Pride, attended a play reading, guested on the podcast, donated a prize, bought a ticket, brought a friend, or have simply been meaning to come along, this is the night to be there.
Come and raise a glass to two years of Queer Theatre, meet your next collaborator, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and celebrate every queer person in the performing arts.

Why Luvvie?
The word luvvie is theatre slang for an actor or theatre person: passionate, theatrical, expressive, devoted to the craft, and usually never far from a story, a song or a strong opinion. For Queer Theatre, the word has an extra-special meaning. Luvvie was coined for us by our patron Sir Stephen Fry, who described it as someone who loves the theatre so much it becomes their natural habitat.
That is exactly what this night is about. A big night out for queer people in the performing arts: a space to meet, flirt, dance, celebrate, reconnect, make new collaborators, build professional relationships and feel part of something free, than the grind of our industry.
Tickets
Tickets: £10 for Students (Must show student card) | £15 General Admission | £50 for a cabaret table for 2 | £100 for a VIP front row cabaret table

All profits go towards Queer Theatre’s work nurturing LGBTQIA+ talent, creating opportunities for queer performers and theatre-makers, and telling LGBTQIA+ stories in London.
I’m in a show! I want to come! But I’ll be late!
Please email info@queertheatre.co.uk with your full name and the production you’re in so we can organise a late night guest list for you. However, we can only do this for a limited number of people and it will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
