From sultry salsa to Bollywood balle balle, and country bootscootin' to Scottish skipping, social dancing in the queer community is having a real renaissance. People are increasingly craving spaces where they can learn, connect and bask in the magical energy created by moving their bodies to music in unison.
To celebrate this growing movement and the diversity of the queer social dance scene, we're taking over the huge event space at Big Penny Social to bring together 5 different collectives and dance styles for the first time ever!

Come try your hand (and feet) at something new, meet other dance-curious people in a low-stakes, welcoming environment, and maybe discover your next obsession!
Respectful allies welcome! All sessions are completely beginner friendly and all partner dancing is non-gendered.
Limited number of party only tickets available but you'll miss out on all the lessons!
★ Doors at 1pm, first session at 2pm
★ 5 x 45min sessions – learn the basics and get a taste of each dance flavour!
★ Dance party 8:30-11pm – show off the moves you've learnt and any you already know!
★ Breaks in between sessions to catch your breath, eat, drink, chat and chill
