Exclusively for the Black LGBTQIA+ community.
Well…yes… that was spontaneous. 🌿
Dope Black Queers × Tribe are pulling together a very impromptu summer picnic, and we want you to all come through!
Join us for a day of soft vibes, sunshine, community, music, snacks, drinks, optional activities, games and much more!
Whether you're bringing lovers, friends, chosen family, coming solo to make new connections or if you just want a afternoon lying on a blanket soaking up the sun whilst being surrounded by Black queer & trans community... come through! It’s going to be super cute!

What to bring:
We'll bring some snacks and drinks, but we'd love everyone to bring their own food, drinks, blankets, fans, SPF and plenty of water too if you can.
Accessibility: Victoria Park is wheelchair accessible, including the area where we'll be gathering. Accessible toilets (including a Changing Places toilet) are available within the park. If you have any questions about access or need anything to help you attend, please don't hesitate to get in touch. 💛
Who is this event for:
This picnic is an intentionally curated space exclusively for Black LGBTQIA+ people. If you do not have Black heritage, we kindly ask that you respect the intention of this space and sit this one out.
Allies who want to support:
If you're an ally who would like to support the work we do, one of the most meaningful ways to do that is by purchasing a solidarity ticket. These help us keep our community events accessible by covering things like food, drinks, activities and free or low-cost tickets for those in our community who are on low or no income. This ticket does not however give you access to the event.
Thank you for helping us protect spaces where Black LGBTQIA+ people can simply come together, rest and connect 🤎.
Drop in whenever suits you—stay for 20 minutes or spend the whole day with us.
This is simply a chance to slow down, rest, breathe a little and enjoy a soft summer's day together.
