Backroom Live is an intimate live music series created by VOICED in collaboration with Arcus Sounds, bringing artists and audiences together in a rehearsal studio setting where music comes first.
For this edition, we're welcoming Annekkein, a Ukrainian-born, London-based artist whose songwriting explores identity, belonging, love, and the experience of building a life in a new country.
The evening begins with an intimate acoustic performance, followed by a live conversation where you'll hear the stories behind the songs, explore the creative process, and have the opportunity to ask your own questions.
But Backroom Live doesn't end there.

At the end of the evening, we open the floor to anyone who wants to share their work.
Whether you've just released a song, have something you've been writing in your bedroom, want to test out new material, or perform spoken word, you're invited to take the stage.
Whether you're performing for the first time or you're a regular on stage, this is a chance to share your work in an intimate environment designed for listening, connection, and community.
