The Gay Professional Network (GPN) is hosting a social & business networking event online and with a limited physical audience at the Civil Service Club. The fabulous composer, writer & cabaret performer Mark Bunyan will be there to say a few words about the struggles of being an openly gay performer from the mid-seventies onwards and throw some entertainment in along the way!
Co-Founder of Pink Singers, oldest LG choir, trampolining champion, magistrate, canonised as St Mark of the Musical Tendency by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, driving force behind Gay's the Word Bookshop, performed with Sandie Shaw, Billy Connolly and Tom Robinson, he is the "First Gay Superstar".

Robustus excelsum et cum plena vita (Hardy high and full of life)
MARK BUNYAN, VERY NEARLY ALMOST FAMOUS, a film by Looking At You Productions, official selection at various film festivals worldwide including San Francisco, Athens and Shrewsbury, is now available to watch for a mere 99p on https://vimeo.com/ondemand/mark. And there’s now a long interview with William Brougham on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxThcbXvUwQ.
My fabulous website, www.markbunyan.com is often updated. And equally often not.
The evening will start at 6:30pm prompt with breakout rooms for those of you who want to catch up privately
At 7 pm, Mark will talk and there will be a Q & A after this, both of which will be recorded, all microphones will be muted and please turn off your video if you do not wish to be recorded.
At about 7:30 pm all attendees have the opportunity, not at all compulsory, to say a few words, if they choose to do so, 2 minutes maximum each but most fit this within 30 seconds like "Hi, I am J-F and organise events and get people together, chat with me after to find out more or if you need help with anything".
At 8pm, the zoom room will close.
Non-members £5 contribution online, £10 at the Civil Service Club (participant in the physical meeting must have registered by noon on the 28th July).
Members Free
Badges will be made for those attending the physical meeting.
