South East London-based collectives Queer House Party and The Chateau are joining forces at Venue MOT Unit 20 this August 14th for a long-overdue knees up that will celebrate the queer power found in the dirty south. Not only that, we will be bringing a melee of SE London’s finest in queer performance and music with us!
Resident Queer House Party DJs Harry Gay, Wacha, and Passer will be joined by dancers from the radical virtual strip club, Cybertease who’ll be taking to the stage and the dance floor throughout the night. Expect pole dancing, a cohort of sexy stunners, and some salacious and non-hierarchical booty shaking.
And that’s not all, Jungle Kitty founder Mark-Ashley Dupé will be gracing the decks. DJing and promoting for over 10 years, the ‘Prince of Peckham’ certainly reigns supreme in Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Reggaeton.
The Chateau’s party crew are parachuting into Unit MOT with their top DJs and dancers for this very special Queer SE extravaganza - their first IRL party since closing their now-legendary Camberwell basement party den in March 2020. DJing on the night for The Chat will be resident DJ and titan of the queer club scene, Mwen, alongside Victoria Peckham & Fat Pat Butch, the Ibiza Trash Queenz, and residents of The Number One Hun Rave UOKHUN?
Joining them on the podiums will be their gorgeous Chateau gogo dancers, as they go B2B with the Queer House Party collective for one night of pure queer south London excellence.
All of this will be held together by Host Liv Wynter, of GLAMTIFA, Queer House Party and theatrical fame will be gracing Unit 20 to occasionally shout motivational, angry, or useless things at you with a microphone and to generally make a nuisance of themselves.
In true QHP style this event will also be on Zoom - so if you can’t make it down and party with us in person, you can grab an online ticket and party from home. As always, we'll be streaming the audio in high quality here: https://mixlr.com/queerhouseparty
IT’S GONNA BE A BIG ONE GURLIES - get your tickets and let’s get weird x
The event will run 9pm - 4am. The last entry for ticket holders will be at midnight.
Tickets are £5 - £15 depending on income. Buying a solidarity ticket will mean that someone on a low income can come for a reduced price. We are also reserving tickets for homeless queers and queers in the asylum process, if this is you drop us an email at queerhouseparty@gmail.com. But once they're gone, they are gone!
