Draw the art nude with a nod to the power of the unconscious.
Inspired by the Surrealist tradition, Automatic Life Drawing draws on the process of automatism in sketching, encouraging random hand movements across the page to create accidental (or subconsciously incidental?) drawings. Is it a scribble or is it art? Arguably, it's a bit of both and an incredible celebration of the creative spark in us all.
This is an inclusive drawing experience for all levels of ability brought to you by the Figuration studio, in partnership with Now Curation as part of their latest exhibition at London's Fitzrovia Gallery In Dreams Begin, which brings together five artists whose practices engage with the motional, sensory, and the unconscious realm as a way to reimagine our relationship to the natural world.
Drawing will take place in the main gallery space featuring art nude Sam Skinner and artist/animator Leo Crane.
