Clay Wild is a Pottery Studio for everyone.
Founded by Megan Preston Elliott (she/her) with the vision of making pottery accessible for all, Clay Wild utilises air-drying clay and hand-building techniques with few tools needed. At a Clay Wild class, Megan facilitates an inclusive, calm atmosphere, helping attendees reconnect to their own wild and unlock their own creativity.
Megan trained in Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School where she specialised in sculpture and first discovered her love for ceramics. Since graduating in 2018 with a First Class degree, Megan has facilitated pottery classes for a range of people in different settings: corporate, schools, community (care homes, charity), and private events.
Clay Wild is LGBTQIA+ friendly and committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Megan hosts monthly queer classes at The Queery, a radical bookshop and vegan café, in Brighton, UK.
Clay Wild is a travelling school bringing clay directly to you. For private & corporate events, please get in touch at claywildstudio@gmail.com.
