Deptford Pride happens yearly in August. In 2018, the organisers of the previous year's one-off event passed the baton to us to continue and expand on the amazing work they did.
Deptford Pride consists of empowering workshops, inspiring activist stalls and amazing performances. We seek to bring the entirety of Deptford's diverse communities together, market stallholders, local business owners, old and new Deptford residents whether members of the LGBTQ+ community or not. We aim to facilitate engaging conversations on social change in the local area and further afield, as well as provide a space to celebrate our sexualities, identities and intersections in an all welcoming and inclusive environment.
