Devil’s Dyke Network is a life force, a shifting collective of political, queer and feminist creatives.
We witness, hear and celebrate each other through mutual mentoring, nurturing each other's self expression and skills and supporting each other's endeavours. We explore queer and feminist theories to practice liberational relations, challenge dominant narratives and build community. We create accessible community spaces for sharing and celebrating creativity, generating political dialogue, exchange of experience and learning. And we galvanise our community energies to curate outward facing events and contribute to local, national and international movement for social and climate justice.
We understand community as embodied intersectional, intercultural, multilingual and beyond borders, embracing difference and dissidence.
We connect with women (trans & cis), queer and TNB people – audiences, artists, collectives and community groups in Brighton and beyond – in order to cultivate loving connections, reimagine creative community, resist human isolation and challenge all forms of oppression and harm to people and our planet, in our houses, our streets, our society and the world.
