Come along to Thames Valley Gay Chorus's Spring Concert in the amazing acoustics of Reading Minster, St Mary's Butts, on Saturday 5th April.
Featuring songs such as ‘You Will Be Found’ from Dear Evan Hanson, ‘The Village’ by Wrable, ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay, ‘I Know A Place’ by MUNA and many, many more!
“There's No Place Like Home” explores the theme of finding "home", safety, comfort and belonging within a chosen LGBTQ+ family and within yourself, after a time of feeling lost, off-course or misplaced. As well as music, we will also hear from some of the choir members in various forms about what “home” means to them.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the concert will start at 7pm.
Drinks will be available before, in the interval and after the concert.
Owing to our theme, TVGC are partnering with Stonewall Housing, the leading national charity supporting LGBTQ+ people of all ages who live in the UK and are experiencing homelessness or living in an unsafe environment. Founded in 1983, they provide specialist housing advice, advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
