ROUND ONE
Knockout LGBTQ+ Boxing presents your first step to boxing!
Are you a fitness enthusiast and curious about trying out boxing? Boxing presents one of the biggest challenges to many people today. It is a physically and mentally demanding sport, that requires a balance of strength, mental fortitude, confidence, and dedication. Come take on the challenge with Knockout LGBTQ+'s ROUND ONE seminar, a session designed around YOU, for your first time boxing!
We are offering an introductory seminar for LGBTQ+ folks with some of London's finest from the boxing community. This seminar will be a crash course in all the basics, from how to properly defend yourself from a punch to how to throw the strongest punch you didn't know you had in you.
We will also be joined by Haringey's hometown champion, Oriance Lungu who will be guest coaching and speaking about her experience as a queer competitive amateur boxer as she segues into the pros.
In addition to the physical workout, Knockout LGBTQ+ has invited Dr. Kathy Adcock, English Boxing accredited coach and Clinical Psychologist to help answer all your questions on boxing and mental well-being and the importance of boxing for community building and well being for the LGBTQ+ community.
Afterwards, join the Knockout community for an evening social at a location (TBC) nearby.
